Tracking the trafficking of humans is tricky: more seems to be hidden than is shown.
So although one source tells us that the USA is where most of the humans trafficked end up (followed by East Asia & Pacific), the biggest destination remains Not Specified.
Fortunately, there is yet another source at hand, which adds up human trafficking data a little differently. Now Europe leads.
There might be methodological squabbling on what the two sources of data seem to be saying, but one thing is unsquabbably clear: the gardener has yet again lost his right to lecture on rights.
Let’s just call it Another Case of the Gardener’s Foot-in-Mouth Disease.
